All breakfast in Kathmandu and all meals during the trek will be provided to you. We will invite you for farewell dinners in Kathmandu where we can enjoy an authentic and typical Nepalese food. Typical Dal Bhat and Dhido(made from the flour of millet, wheat, Barley, etc.) are their traditional local cuisine in the most of regions in Nepal and especially in the mountains regions. However, most tea houses/lodges in the mountain region, currently serving a large choice of meal with western friendly cuisines, Tibetan, Chinese, Continental, Italian, Indian, etc.

You will stay in a standard (deluxe) hotel in Kathmandu and tea house lodge during the trek in the mountain. All the accommodations you will get twin sharing basic and also single supplement will be available on request with extra price in Kathmandu and lower elevations in the mountain. However sometime in the higher elevation may be difficult to get a single room. Normally our company can arrange you an accommodation with attached bathroom/toilet, however, some places in the mountain, you might share your bathroom and toilet as a common.
This Climbing is measured more strenuous than normal trek to Everest base camp. Climbing up to the higher altitudes too fast causes a serious medical condition enough to result in death. As you ascending up upper elevation, there is less oxygen in the air. Your body needs more time to adapt to such an atmosphere. We advise you to consult with your doctor about your heart, lungs or blood diseases before traveling. If you got a light headache, loss of appetite, stomach disorders or fever are the symptoms of acute mountain sickness (AMS).
During your trip in the Himalaya we suggest you that increased altitude gradually, drinks lots of liquids and Garlic soup but avoid smoking, alcohol and using sleeping tablets and overexertion, use preventive medicines, don’t walk alone, don’t climb higher if you get even mild symptoms of altitude sickness and descend immediately if you get worse, never leave anybody alone with symptoms of AMS and wear warmly when trekking.
Traveler's safety is the highest concern while traveling with Nature Himalaya, so your leader(guide) has the right to change or cancel any part of the itinerary if necessary due to safety concerns. Your guide might be compulsive to do it all due to a awful weather, the worse health condition of a group member or any natural circumstance. Your guide attempt to ensure that the trip goes as per itinerary plan, however, please be ready to be flexible if needed.

Best Time to Travel
Autumn (September to November) and Spring (March to May) are the best months for this trip. Although this trip can be organized even in winter season for those travelers who are physically fit on such a coldest temperature.
Travel insurance is required in to join on any of our adventures. When choosing a travel insurance policy please tolerate in mind that every client should have medical coverage for repatriation and emergency rescues like helicopter, treatment and the policy also covers personal liability, cancellation, and loss of baggage and private effects. Physical Condition & Experience
It is very important you are aware that, as a minimum, an average level of fitness and mobility' is needed to adopt this trip. This is a moderate adventure that suitable for most of the travelers who have the ability to walk at least 6-7 hours daily with a light backpack without the help of another person. In some days we'd need to climb up or down even for 7 to 8 hours. Walking in higher elevations is more physically harder than walking in the lower altitudes; however, if we are in excellent health with average physical fitness, have a positive perspective and strong determination, we can complete the adventure successfully. Existing hiking experience would be an advantage; however, no technical expertise is needed for this journey.
Travelers with a pre-existing medical condition like heart, lung, and blood diseases shall inform to Nature Himalaya before booking your journey and additionally we advise that you simply consult your doctor(s) before the trip.

Note: The best clothing for trekking is either wool or synthetic materials in layers, as this is quick-drying and can keep heat in better. The weather is subject to change in high altitude so layered clothing is recommended throughout the year.
More Travel Tips and Requirements
On your arrival time at the Kathmandu airport, Nature Himalaya representative will be waiting to welcome you with a card with your name. You will be now greeted with a garland made from fresh flower and smile. Then you will transfer to the hotel in our private car. If there will be any changes to the flight schedule, in missing of affiliation flight you are requested to inform us by calling or sending text or writing email or if any reason you are not met at the airport by our representative, please make your way to the joining point hotel via taxi that available for about 700-800 NPR in front of arrival terminal. Please be aware of people wanting to assist you with your luggage as they will ask for money once you get to your taxi.
After some refreshments, you will be invited to visit our company where our representative can organize a short meeting soon, right through that you will meet other trip participants and will be brief you about specific aspects of the trip. A welcome note will be left for you in the hotel with all the necessary information regarding the meeting time. If you arrive late, we will leave you a message mentioning what time and where you should meet the next morning.
We expect that all our travelers can able to begin their trip as scheduled, however, if you are unable to start your trip as scheduled by any reason, please inform us and also your booked hotel or refer to our emergency contact details. If you have pre-booked an airport transfer and have not made contact with our representative within 30 minutes of clearing customs and immigration, we suggest that you make your own way to the starting point hotel, following the joining directions and you may apply to our counter on your return for a refund of the transfer price if this occurs.
Visas and Entry Requirements
Nepal Visas are obtainable from embassies abroad or on arrival at Kathmandu Tribhuvan airport. you need to provide one passport photo and the following fees in US dollars cash only: single entry visa valid for 15 days - US $25: single entry Visa for 30 days - US $40 and multiple entry visa valid for 90 days - US $100. Visa arrangement is on your responsibility before you travel
Trekking in Nepal is really a marvelous accomplishment, from the Himalayan landscapes to the rich cultural ethos, visit beautiful ethnic Himalayan settlements and villages, the journey to destinations at the beautiful river valleys harboring unique terrains, walk on winding trails passing through heavenly alpine forests and green pastures that are undeniably awe-inspiring!
Trekking can be difficult in some parts, with a lot of uphill and downhill climbing, however, walk at your own pace – slow and steady is the way to go – being fit or unfit isn't the primary control here, it is how you deal with altitude. Do not rush! The only reward for trying to prove something by being first is a splitting headache, vomiting, and nausea! Climb slowly on at a steady pace, pause, standing to rest, don’t sit too much, usually, it's harder to get going again. Don’t care about whether others are ahead! The path is obvious, your guides keep track of where you are. There is plenty of time to walk at your pace regardless of how far behind you'll assume you are.
Bear in mind the sun is strong, wear sunscreen and sunglasses. It is colder than you think, especially in the wind, if you taking off layers while walking make sure to place them on again as soon as you stop or are in the shade, don’t wait to get cold.
Money requirements will vary for every person as per his/her habits spending money. Some travelers may drink more than others ‘whereas other travelers like to purchase more souvenirs than most. Please consider your own spending habits when it comes to allowing drinks, shopping, and tipping.
Currency exchange rates in Nepal is 1 USD = 110Nepalese Rupees (NPR), however, it may differ every day as per the market demand. There are many ATM machines that accept both Visa and MasterCard; however, you can find it rarely in mountain regions. Major credit cards are accepted in most shops but they will charge a 2-4% transaction fee.
Tipping is expected (however not compulsory) in every hospitality. Tip service providers such as waiters, at approximately 10%, depending on the service and an expression of satisfaction with the people who have assisted you on your trip. There are several times during the trip where there is an opportunity to tip the local guides, porters or drivers we use. You may do this on your own, or your guide will offer to gather the money and tip as a group. Tipping range is depending on the standard and length of the service (you may ask your guide for specific recommendations based on the circumstances and culture). Also at the end of each trip, if you felt your Nature Himalaya guide did an outstanding job, tipping is appreciated.
Trip Specific Safety
We suggest the use of a money belt or neck wallet while traveling, for the safekeeping of your air tickets, passport, travelers' Cheques, cash, and different precious items and we suggest you leave your valuable jewelry in the reception of the hotel while traveling. Most of the hotels we use have a safety safe-deposit which is the most secure way of storing your valuables. A lock is recommended for securing your baggage. When traveling in a group, please note that your guide has the authority to switch any a part of the trip itinerary if it is deemed necessary due to safety concerns.
During your trip, you will have some free time to follow your own interests, relax and take it easy or explore at your leisure. Please use your own superior decision when choosing an activity in your free time. If you're doing any water-based activity we suggest only participating when accompanied by your guide. We make every reasonable effort to ensure the fun and adventurous element of any water-based activities has a balanced approach to safety.
Local Dress and restrictions variance
In Nepal, you may see some variance at a few young generations about their dress up and feelings However for your own comfort, we suggest modest clothing, covering shoulders; loose, lightweight, long clothing is respectful. When visiting temples or mosques or other holy sites and make sure you wear long pants and open your shoes and keep quiet before coming into the monasteries. When packing try and choose loose, lightweight, long covering which will keep you cool within the typically hot and wet climate in summers.
We suggest you have access to at least an additional USD $700 (or equivalent) cash as an 'emergency' fund, to be used when any the potential unexpected situation requires a modification to our planned route. This includes the USD $500 cash emergency helicopter funds that are mentioned in the Important Notes.
For this trip, you must be eighteen to travel alone and for minors’ travelers with a guardian over twenty-one years old, the minimum age is twelve.
We suggest that for much up-to-date information for your flight, please contact your airline and check in online in advance to avoid potential delays at the airport. Arrival times and baggage restrictions are going to take issue by airline and may modification at any time.
Porters play a very important role in most of the industries, and similarly, their requirements are more special in travel and trekking industry as well. Only the porters carry all the things to the remote regions where are no motorway facilities. We are firmly dedicated to porter rights. We make sure that all our porter's staffs are well paid well treated and provide the quality level of shelter, clothing, and footwear as per brutal environments demand. Every porter shall be treated in the case of sickness or sudden circumstance injuries with the same care and attention as other team members. As we are dedicating to improve their working conditions, our resources are available to aid them.
Group Size: Max 15, average 12
Nature Himalaya operates all trips for groups of any size as per our clients' request as possible but as per our many years’ experiences we realized a maximum of fifteen peoples and in average twelve is the most favorable size for a successful trip. On this trip, we arrange a guide, assistant guide (4 travelers: 1 assistant guide) and Sherpa porters (2 trekkers: 1 porter) for carrying luggage.
The Trekking Group
This trip will be organized by one guide, assistant guide (5 trekkers: one assistant) and porters for carrying baggage. This arrangement ensures that even if anybody among the group gets sick the trip can still go ahead as planned. As we've got many years of experience and feelings, a maximum of fifteen and on an average of twelve travelers in a group are going to prefer size for a successful trip. However, we are flexible to arrange this trip on any size even with a smaller or larger group as per the client’s interest and needs.
Our group trips are designed for shared accommodation and do not involve a single supplement. Single travelers joining group trips are paired in twin or multi-share accommodation with someone of the same sex for the duration of the trip. Some of our independent trips are designed differently and single travelers on these itineraries must pay the single trip price.
All local flights are included in the price of your trip unless noted. Internal flight tickets are issued domestically and can be given to you before the flight departure.
Most of the hotels offer laundry facilities with a certain charge. If you want your own laundry, we suggest you bring non-polluting soap.
